hi there my 997 2007 runs out of its 2 YEAR warranty in march. if i get an ipod blue tooth kit fitted by my local car audio shop will the warranty be nul invoid ? also is it worth the huge £1400 to extend it? what other options have i got? thanks

Yes they won't extend your warranty with the aftermarket kit on.

It depends on what mileage/what kind of mileage you do and your appetite for risk, IMO it's not worth it anymore.

official answer would be Yes, you've just opted out of the OPC warranty..
However I'd speak to your service manager personally as I've seen a few posts saying they had done so and the warranty had been offered with the clause the PCM was no longer going to be covered- which for me would be one of the only things to keep me interested in the OPC warranty!

Options are that many of the independent resellers are coming up with their own warranty offers, so worth looking around.
another option would be to see if the OPC will themselves fit and cover the blue tooth kit... don't ask don't get and all that [;)]
