If it is a Porsche extended warranty then it should be covered. I would check into this. I have the extended warranty and this does cover the RMS. I am not sure what Premium plus means? May be it is a diffrent type of warranty. Some OPC i have heard are bad at getting back to people, but sadly this is the same with lots of business and should not be the case, I seam to be lucky at my OPC as they have been very good on that front. I know that RMS replacment is more expensive on a TIP but it does seam that £1100 is a lot shop about, i would have it done by a OPC they will give 2 years warranty on replacment of the seal. I am sure you shall get lots of points of few on this, just thought i would give you mine being in the same situation before.

Stuart,

From personal experience, OPC East London appear to charge an absolute premium for RMS replacement! They quoted me double what a couple of other OPC's quoted. The other OPC's quoted sub £600 and a leading indy quoted slighty over £400.

Needless to say, I'm not impressed with their poor customer service either.

yes it was a porsche warranty sold by porsche @ £1000 as for cust care about 0 from what i can tell 993 i will keep for a while yet

The warranty that i have taken out was £720 but my dealer did inform me that it has gone down in price as i think it use to be £1000, so it may be the old warranty that did not cover the RMS, so i would check into this, and if not going to the right opc with goodwill there could be some saving?
