Hi

I need some advice on warranties, all of the cars that I have had in the past I always use a Main Dealer warranty and indeed we had a Porsche warranty on our Boxster. However, I been quoted about £1500 for a years warranty for a Cayenne compared to about £700 from Warranty Direct.

What warranties do you guys use and are they worth the paper they are written on, or am I better off stumping up the extra and getting a Porsche Approved warranty?

My Cayenne S is an 06 model year,I have extended the Porsche warranty again recently because we use the car quite a bit,you can only extend to 125 k miles,last year the engine coolant pipes ruptured and I was very glad of the cover,I have always found the policy to cover everything needed so far anyway, and it gives real peace of mind.
