Washer level low warning light problem

I've done something daft and I hope someone out there can give me an idea as to how to sort it out: I was in a bit of a hurry to dash out the other day and remembered that my washer bottle was almost empty; I grabbed the garden hose and filled the bottle with this; however the water shot out at absolutely full pressure and I got soaked in the process. The problem is that now now the washer level low warning light is permanently on, even with the bottle full. Have I dislodged something? I can't see how you get access to the bottle. Any ideas gratefully received.

I'm guessing, but I suspect that the water level is monitored by a float which will be attached to the level sender. I wouldn't mind betting that the force of the water from the hose has dislodged the float, allowing the arm to sink to the bottom - hence indicating low level.

The washer tank is mounted within the left hand wheel well, just above the wheel. You'll have to take out the wheel arch liner and you should be able to see the tank quite easily. Geting it out might be another story altogether though. I can't speak from experience so it may be easier than it looks.
