I think I may have made a boo-boo"¦
I have now replaced the engine in my 924 Turbo cab, and in the process of bolting back on the ancillaries. The problem I have is trying to refit the pipe (control pipe?) from the inlet manifold to wastegate. I probably should have installed it with the engine, my fear is I will need to take the engine back out in order to get it in place.
The distributor is still out, as are all heater hose connections etc. Can anyone confirm if it is possible to replace this pipe with the engine in? Ideally do I attempt to poke it down on the inlet side and waggle it across, or attempt to poke it down exhaust side, where it is somewhat tighter between the block and firewall?
Any comments gratefully received.
Regards,
