Water collecting in battery tray

Hi all, I‘m still learning my way around my 987.2 Boxster S bought 2 months ago, and I’ve noticed corrosion to the battery tray bolts caused by ponding water.
Photo shows that it is not severe, but wouldn’t seem quite right.

I can’t see any drain holes for this, so is there a cover missing somewhere?
Any thoughts gratefully received...

Been there etc.
there are 2 drain holes, and both are slightly above the area they drain, thus some water puddles are almost designed in.
Welcome to some aspects of Porsche design..

the drain hole are not clear to find but are towards the rear and close to the bulkhead of the car. They can be covered by general debris.
they art both about 8mm dia hole, about 14mm in overall dia of the plastic inserts.
search around and you will uncover them.
poke them through with something quite stiff, they drain straight down.
Once pokes through pour clean water right down each and look for the flood under the car to prove they are clear.

14 ... being the cross panel that the battery tray attaches to

17 ... being noted as a grommet and resembling a `drain`

The accompanying detail has two 17`s, with differing part numbers hence one not being shown on the drawing

Thanks for the "been there” message, which is comforting for a ’newbie’!

What a great resource this forum is. Also boxa.net interesting but not so intuitive for postings, I find.
