Help needed Richard, i've got a water collecting in well under air filter, any ideas? Car is 99c2, car stands on a hill, could this have anything to do with it?

There is a drain tube in the bottom, so check that it isn't blocked. See here: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=601307

Hi Richard, not the footwell the well just under the wipers just below the airfilter. Both footwells are dry, sorry for the confusion.

I assume you mean the pollen filter - the cabin air filter. I meant you to look at the diagram on that post, which shows the front drains either side of the battery compartment, and it shows a drain for the filter/blower housing.

Porsche have recently released a plastic frame filter to fit in the drain holes to stop them getting blocked with leaves and other debris. Sorry I dont have access to the part number at present but any OPC parts dept should be able to aquire them. They originally had an auto isue of these.
