Hopefully this is a common problem after heavy rain or lately snow i seem to have a wet carpet in the passenger footwell, any ideas where the water is coming from and what the solution is please?
Thanks

Sunroof more than likely and possibly thru gutter gaps (reseal).

To check sunroof, remove trim at rear of roof and carefully peal away headlining then observe for a few wet or pour water over the area to induce the prob.

good luck

When you are looking in the sunroof gutter you should see a drain hole at each corner. Pour a little water down each hole and if all the drain tubes are still connected it should appear at the floor behind each wheel arch.

The front tubes run down inside the A pillar and empty into a pond under the bonnet at the back corners of the engine bay. The passenger side is under the fusebox, the driver side in front of the wiper motor. These ponds have drain holes leading down to the wheel arch. Check they are not full of leaves [;)] which is common [8|]

If its the passenger footwell i would also check your door lining, take the door card off and check the waterproof membrane is still in place, especially around the speaker.
