Water in rear footwell of Targa C2?

Lots of it! Assume it must be coming in through roof but overmats are dry and only sound proofing foam is wet as though it must be leaking down between inner and outer bodywork ? Has anyone come across this?

My Targa was leaking through the front windscreen seal at some point....previous owner had it re sealed and 1 month later replaced the rubber to cure the problem. I would of thought that the mats/seat would be wet if comming from roof. Is your rear window seal good?Is it wet at all in the front?

I would pull back the carpets and use a hose on the car to see if you can isolate the problem. If its leaking that much it shouldnt be too hard to find!!!!.

Had the same happen to mine just once so far when in rain over night followed by a drive home in heavy rain. I get some drips in between side windows and roof, and have had rear hoop seal replaced, but it's a 2nd car, garaged, and now avoid rain whenever possible. Would be interested if you locate your leak.

...on reflection I think it's probably linked to regulay cleaning with Karcher pressure wash..I'll do a test this W/E and revert!
