Water in the front luggage bay

Washed the car today, so not sure if got water in using the hose (don't use pressure wash) but the front luggage bay was wet, took out base to dry water around air pump and tow bolt holder. Fair bit of water, about a cup full I would guess, anyone else experienced water getting into front. Pump and base hanging out to dry ! [&:]
 
I always end up with a lot of water over the battery cover and around the bonnet release thingy and even on the under side of the bonnet but haven't noticed the stowage area getting wet.

Yeh me too, checked the gasket that surrounds the bay, seems OK [8|]
