Water ingress into footwell

I wonder if I ask this question will I get a 'they all do that sir'?

I have a 996TT coupe. I got in my car today after it had sat in the rain and there was a damp patch, around 3"square on the carpet near the sill on the driver's side. Looks like the type of puddle you get from 'run off ' on an inverted drying umbrella. Can't see where it would have come from.... anyone else had this problem?

Rgds, Brin

Unfortunately sounds like a one-off prob - I've not had this problem with my 996 TT or 996 C4.

Will be interesting to know the outcome.

any possibility that it could have dripped via a slightly open door window?

Thanks for the suggestions, Gents and I will have a damn good loook this weekend (when it is forecast to be really rainy!!)

Rgds, Brin
