Water ingress

Sat at Le Harve in France on our way homw after a fab holiday, only slightly spoilt by the fact that my A/C failed which I,d just had refurbed especially for the trip 3 or so weeks ago which didnt help when we were up around 30 degrees, however I digress!

I forgot about an old water ingress issue which has raised its ugly head. Because its not a daily driver its not out in the rain much. Its rained all the way to the ferry and there is water ingressing somewhere near the bottom left of the windscreen as you look out of the car. This results in water dripping from the fuel opener pull button and you can hear water gutgling in the passenger side air vent which is up against the door. Any ideas? Ive poured water down the sun roof drains and these clear no problem. By the way the water gurgle only occurs whilst driving so I assume its air being forced in and making the water gurgle. Any help would be much appreciated. I know water gurgling has been raised before, wondering if any one has sussed it out.

I seem to recall this sort of problem surfacing from time to time on this forum - if you 'search' the 993 forum on 'water ingress' it seems to bring up quite a few threads - maybe one of those would help?
