My old ones were perished and when it rained hard I would get a trickle of water down the door cards near the speakers. If you get enough water through here it could collect in the footwell.
Other than that my motor still leaks like a sieve. I get rain water through into my dashboard in all kinds of places []

I just replaced the "up and over" seals that go round the inner door jam. They fix to the bodywork with about 10 small screws per side.

No, actually along the outer side of the doorcard! When I got in the car I could see where water had trickled down the doorcard.
The seal which screws to the inner joor jam ends above the upper hinge - I think it needs to go down a bit further to direct the water right down the front edge of the door skin (instead of inside the cabin!) but the new seal was exactly the same length???

If they block with dirt or leaves, water can then drip into the footwells.
I don't know if this is so on Porsche but it is a common problem in other cars.

If they rot then I guess the water would get in an run down the inside of the A-pillars but I dont know where it would go from there???
Nathan, next time it rains I will get some photos of the water coming in. Its really getting on my nerves especially as I just put new seals in...
