Hi Barry, Just after purchasing my C4S I too had a problem with a water leak that was coming from under the car, centrally forward of the rear wheels. It was not too visible due to the cover trays hiding most of the pipework running from the engine to front of the car (radiators). It did appear to be dripping more constantly after turning engine off! It was identified as coolant hoses but took 3 weeks for OPC to obtain correct parts as they were wrongly identified on their parts fish. Mine is a manual & it showed Tiptronic codes, they're different sizes evidently. I think they were plastic hoses that connected to metal pipes, don't know if it was hot or cold but if it's the return hose from radiator I guess it would be cool. I've noticed that these cars only reach about 80 degrees coolant temperature whereas my everyday vehicles operate 88-90...... Hope this helps or at least dismisses the problem that I had. Regards Paul

hi something to check also are the drain rubbers under the battery if blocked you can get a build up of water which could drip away slowly just a thought

Hi, Have just washed and vaccuumed my 98 996 (which only had for a couple of months) and noticed the drivers carpet is wet. This is probably why there is always condensation inside the windows on a morning! Only use it the odd weekend. Any ideas where this could be coming from ??? Very frustrating. Thankx John
