Water Leak

I have discovered water is entering my C4S - hardly a surprise considering the weather here in Scotland.

It's worst on the passenger rear side.
Don't know where it's coming from, could be sunroof or as seen on other forums the rear quarterlight is problematic. I have half the rear interior removed already.

The worst affected part seems to be the rear passenger seat bowl - at least that's the wettest part I can get to.
If it's not the quarterlight can someone tell me where the rear sunroof drain pipes go to?

Look forward to hearing of anyone else's experience.

Regards

Cheers Clive, almost got the thing dried out so will look at getting the drain fixed. Regards Andrew

I use the plastic cable as used on grass strimers it's stiff enough to clear most muck out but not damage the tube or joints better than wire! its ok to use an air line but only after the drain is free, put water down the drain holes and make sure it comes out the bottom! Berny.

Thanks Bernard, I finally took some time to look around and Rennlist comes up with the same solution. Now, I realise that the link goes to a 928 page ( I suspect the basic engineering is the same regardless) but I thought it useful to visualise the problem. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/928-forum/647162-front-sunroof-drain-tube-location.html Of course, what I forgot to mention was that I park on an incline, nose up. And with the weather here it's no surprise I'm having problems. Andrew

Guess what I just found - some kind person listed this on a certain online auction site and I have liberated the following : And there's another in the next posting.
