Water leaks on 993 Targa

Has anyone had any experience of water leaking in through the roof section of the 993 targa? Is this a common occurrence?

Not on mine or any of the ones I've seen, although I do remember seeing one horror story somewhere on the ewb (rennlist probably) where water came in around the top of the screen and rusted out the screen surround....

All in all I'd guess its pretty rare to get leeks on these targas. I remember a 3.2 targa my dad had years ago used to constantly try to soak its occupants but with the glass panel I understood this was history now.

Regrettably this is my experience too. Bought my car last September, had a few niggles with it including the fact that the seal between the two main panels was twisted on the driver's side and was bound to leak. Demanded thathe garage replace teh seal, which they did, but the resulting strip didn't inspire much confidence. When heavy rain came it leaked, albeit only slightly and it does seem to be ok in just light drizzle. I'm afraid I've resigned myself to not taking it out in heavy rain, and that's the way it'll stay unless someone comes up with a sure-fire and reasonably priced cure. Let me know if you hear of one.
