I don't remember the roads being in such poor condition last time I went by that way [&:] [;)]
Super weather for a drive recently- but sadly a working weekend for me... so no pictures [:(]

Sorry if this makes anyone jealous but I've just spent 4 days hooning round the Scottish Highlands. Each day doing about 3 hours driving and 5-6 hours climbing. Fantastic road conditions (even faster now thanks to Chris Franklin) and even better conditions on the hillsides. Got caught in the fire on the Torridon hillside that is in the news today. Like being on a volcano. Amazing experience descending thorough the flames (no Health and Safety in NW Scotland thank goodness) though was a bit worried the fire might have reached my car!!

Had an impromtu meet at the Shard Riverside Inn, next to the river Wyre near Hambleton near the Fylde coast of Lancashire. Beautiful early evening relaxing with a drink and taking in the car park scenery and the river.

The trip to Manchester's Lowry Cente you dont want to see!!

Hi Oggy

Fantastic pics indeed - 2001 R18 Concours if I recall correctly. Not sure where the bottom one was though.

Yes the SC was lovely and if I remember you had a Boxster at the time and were about to sell it! I sold the SC a couple of years later and bought a 996 Cab - which was also there on that concours day!

I love the 997 and it draws so much attention being yellow. No one really noticed the Rainforsest Green 996.

Anyhow glad to see you back and by the way I love your car - it looks gorgeous!

Hope we can meet up again soon.

Thanks Peter ! Yep, really loved the Boxster, is responsible for me getting addicted to Porsches !!

I think lower picture could have been Highclere ??

Maybe see you at Jasmine on May 18th if you are going ??

All the best,
