I've just uploaded details of next year's Silverstone Classic to the website. Anyone recognise any of the cars in the archive picture?

Prize for any still on the road in the hands of the same owner!

So not one person recognised any of the cars from that great Silverstone event?

Sad to see so many of the regulars have been forgotten..... [:(]

Looking forward to this next year, we've already booked our hotel near to Silverstone for the full weekend [:D]

Go to website, go to registers, go to 944! There you will find events, news, resources, pictures etc. :)

Ah yes found it thanks ! Of course recognise Beaky and Wuf - think my original 220 bhp car was there that year too. Wonder where it is now ?

Really looking forward to this and planning to be there all three days.

Is the Club BBQ only for Members or can I bring the wife and daughter as it would be a weekend trip
Worth a call to Narinda but if there's an issue let me know. [;)]
If the family BBQ isn't for families then I'll be in trouble with the board again...

A bigger version of the image Paul referred to (taken at 10:02 on 28/7/07 - it seems like a lifetime ago)

I love this picture. It is a great example of the difference in having someone who is a pain in the bum directing parking (i.e. me) and leaving apparently intelligent people, who are meant to be able to drive, to park themselves. [;)]

In fairness it is almost impossible to diagonally park in a straight line without external direction of some sort.

It is also an example of how awesome register parking can look at an event. I appreciate it is a great deal more work than just allowing people to park randomly, but it is the difference in car park full of Porsches a display.
