Actually just blasted up that way tonight myself and no sign of any police - imagine they were after the sunday afternoon power rangers....

Sorry that I won`t make this one - I don`t get off the rig until Thursday, weather permitting.

On a positive note this is my first post on the forum.

Cheers,

Cameron.

Welcome to the Forum, perhaps see you at Concours on 1st August !

regards
Scott

Thanks Scott.

I`ll be there and I`m looking forward to it. I`m expecting my usual co-pilot to be with me too.

I hope that the weather picks up - it`s dull and rainy out here. Probably pretty much the same back home from what I can see on tv.

That`s two posts in two days....I`m on a roll.

Best wishes.

Cameron.

weather not looking good for tomorrow, so I have booked a table for 12 people at Mhor Fish

The new edition of the List's Eating & Drinking Guide is available in the shops and online with fully updated reviews of over 800 restaurants, cafés and bars.

This review is taken from the current (2010) edition.

This may well be the best fish and chip shop in the country. It combines the traditions of the familiar local chippie with the gourmet delights of a fishmonger's counter enabling you to pick and choose your own from catches fresh off the boats on the north east coast. Just ask for your selection to be grilled, seared, baked or fried and draw on the skilful kitchen team trained by the fine dining expertise of the Lewis family from Monachyle Mhor up the glen. You can sit in or takeaway.

Take the boat instead! ;O)
If it doesn't let up soon I might have to buy a boat - currently about 2mm short of getting into the garage....the rabbit is out back fashioning some sort of snorkel

LOL, hope you've bought it a wet suit too!! Weather is terrible. The rain hasn't stopped here all day, not a good night for a run.

Kx

Na, the pup wasnt too well and to be honest I would have bailed out cause of the rain anyway.

Fancied the fish and chips though, but had a BORING night in instead!

Yes , despite the grim weather I had a good night - good to meet you all , enjoyed the chat . Mohr fish was superb ....a great wee find . Wife wants to go now ! Yes the roads were awful , but hey , its Scotland . The pace was spirited to say the least given the weather ! .... not complaining ! Thanks all for an enjoyable ( if soggy ) evening - cheers Barry

I also went along on Wednesday's run, as previously stated it was rather wet but very enjoyable with Neil up front setting a good pace. Food and chat at Mhor fish was great also.
