Weird juddering from wheel when reversing

This is going to sound a bit weird but since replacing my alloys recently I find that the front offside wheel seems to be juddering when I reverse on full lock . Its almost as if the wheel is running over marbles. It is only when reversing anti-clockwise too.

Ive looked at a few online forums but people seem to blame traction control or the fact they have really wide alloys.

My fronts are only 6" however (although I do have spacers fitted)

Does this sound familiar to anyone? [&:]

Front suspension bush?! I keep meaning to upgrade both mine as I have 17" Cup 1's and the standard bushes...they do complain a bit at times, particularly dry steering at full lock! Could also be a sticking pressure release valve on the steering rack perhaps (maybe extra rubber on the road has increased the back pressure in the system)?! Increase the tension on the steering pump belt and see if this makes any difference?

I'm sure someone here with a lot better understanding will be able to help more than me but hope you get it sorted!

have you looked for any rub marks ?

could be a bush or ball joint on its way out allowing movment at the wheel and it could be rubbing against the chassis or wing

I'm interested in this one, mine does exactly the same, sounds like a ball joint failing on the offside front but nothing has shown up on the last two MOT's. Anyone got a definitive answer?

It doesn't seem to be rubbing. (the new wheels are narrower at the front anyway than my previous ones)

A few other forums (non Porsche) also mention bushes but it seems odd that it started the second I put the new wheels on.

I would go for wishbone bush. Also what kind of wheels? are they standard Porsche ? Do you have spigot rings fitted? I
