Weird locking stuff

Ive done this before by accident, but did it again today, and realised what i did.
Whilst unlocking the car, held the keyfob lock button down and opened the windows!
Is it possible to put the windows up whilst locking the car?? I didnt find a way, seems odd why you'd want to put the windows down whilst unlocking. Or is it just me?

It's a facility that your OPC can programme in (much like auto "tip down" of the drivers mirror in reverse (if you have memory seats)). I also have not managed to find out if you can get "comfort" closing or if the "comfort" opening can be used to open the sunroof. I use mine to lose the heat out of the car if it has bee parked in the sun before I get in, or if some nice, accomodating idiot has parked a bit close, it's easier to get in with the window down, when you cannot open the door fully.

Cheers

it is not "just you"[:D] my key is programmed to let the windows down if you hold the fob on

My car came with the comfort option configured to raise and lower the windows - as already mentioned you do need to hold the button down for a few seconds for it to action.

I asked my OPC if they could also link the sunroof in and after some investigation they came back to say that it is not possible. It's a bit of a pain to have to get back in to put on the ignition and close the sunroof when you can close the windows remotely. Optimistically Porsche do release software updates with new features, as well as bug fixes: the more people which ask I guess increases the possibility they might provide the sunroof option. Here's hoping...

Press and hold the lock botton after about 10 seconds the windows start to rise - keep the button depressed until the window id fully shut.

I actually got the window open facility disabled after coming outside one morning and finding the car unlocked & both windows wide open.
I presumed the problem was the key fob being acidentally pressed and held when I sat down to breakfast with it in my pocket.

I do find the key is very easy to activate in my pocket, I've found it unlocked several times, not the best design.

I didn't know the windows open from the keyfob but found it a great feature on my old BMW 325Ci for getting into the car in tight spaces.

I also find the keyfob too sensitive, my bonnet keeps popping. I have been advised that the OPC can either disable or make less sensitive.
