well done john and rita

A big THANK YOU to John and Rita for organising today's run out. The fish and chips were delicious and the weather - not a drop of rain until the journey home. Dina and I had a slight panic when everyone disappeared behind us. We frantically started looking for the map!

Also a big thank you to Johnny at Specialist Cars for his hospitality. A lovely array of cars, especially the Turbo 2. [:)]

Also thanks to the car parking attendants, they are now trained and can do the job again. [;)]

We agree with the above comments. What a great day and what scenery.

Suggest we make this an annual outing, possibly nearer the middle of summer so we can stay later and still drive back in daylight

Thanks John & Rita & John at Specialist Cars

Regards

Adam & Irene

Agreed,
We really enjoyed the day out and hopefully raised quite a bit of cash for the Air Ambulance. It didnt start to rain until I got past Bridlington so it was well timed.

Regards,

Neil Eldred

Ditto with the above, sadly we were still cooking breakfast making beds and clening up till 12.00 so only caught up at Whitby

I'm sure I'm speaking for all NE Region members who attended when I say to John & Rita thanks for the invite, and thanks for a great day out. The route, scenery, fish & chips, company, etc, was superb. Thanks also to John & the staff at Specialist Cars of Malton for excellent hospitality as always.
Hopefully there will be a photo attached of at least some of the cars at Whitby. I counted 25 Porsches there!!

Thanks John and Rita for a great day.396 miles from coast to coast Blackpool to Whitby, a fantastic drive and then home for 9.00p.m. Apart from the Kami-kaze pheasant everything went very smoothly. Here's to the next time. Please pass on our thanks to John at Specialist Cars.

I would like to echo all that everybody else has already said - I really enjoyed myself. Lovely views, roads, company, food and weather - what more could one ask for? I would probably suggest that next year we miss out the tour of Goathland, though!

How much was raised for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity?

Graham

I'd like to add thanks to John & Rita for their organising of the run, and to John for his hospitallity.

As always everyone likes a run out when the weather is nice, and we couldn't do it unless someone like John & Rita take the trouble to sort it for the rest of us, so thanks again for organising it (and the spring run to Whitby too).

Paul
