Thanks John, your support for the north east region is really appreciated.

Looking forward to next year

Cheers

Thanks to Nick and John for organising and sponsoring a great event - was a fantastic day out with wonderful weather to complement the display of cars - the only downside was the lack of support from our region (Yorkshire) - we are lucky to have the support of John Hawkins and the expertise of his staff - what other region has the support of this type of garage who are always there to answer any query plus bringing along and firing up the formula one cars.

Regions should support each other - events like this take a lot of organisation - Raby Castle is in a wonderful situation with good links to the A1. If membership does not help then the activities on offer will be restricted to national events miles away.

Thanks again to the North East region and the sponsors, Specialist Cars of Malton.

I came over from Blackpool (on the Saturday night and camped at Barnard Castle so it was a 15 minute drive to Raby Castle on the Sunday morning). This would make a great run out for the Lancs and Cumbria region so I shall be plugging it to get on our region's calendar of events and try and get a convoy organised for it. Would make a good weekend event for us. Well worth supporting, this event is in it's infancy but will grow and grow.
Cheers,

Nick, Neil and all,

Congratulations on another fabulous day, you even managed to organise the weather too, (note to self, remember sun lotion for top of head next time)

Great support from Specialist Cars as always and met some really nice friendly people along the way, my first experience of entering show and shine, beginners luck.

I've got some great photos if anyone wants them copying,

All the best
Ashley

Where are the photos Nick, Ashley et al !
Unfortunately I was on music duty most of the time and the photos I took were not that brilliant - It would be nice if those who are better photographers than me could post their best ones ( if only to let those guys who went to TIPEC see what they missed ! )

Nick - thanks for capturing my moment of glory, I was surprised at winning and my daughter didn't have her camera ready.
