Congratulations are due to Paul Hedges who for those that were not present yesterday at the AGM received an award in recognition of the brilliant idea that has become Front Runner.

[:)][:)][:)]

Thanks Graeme [:)]
I didn't give a speech at the time but here it is now [;)]

It was a real surprise to win the award, I must mention Geoff Ives who was the Registers Director at the time for setting the ball rolling and helped me get things organised - Geoff is also helping with this years event too.
A mention for Mark Gough who designed the artwork for the 2004 event as well as for the forthcoming event.
And also to the Club members who filled the car parking spaces and showed that this is what it is all about - people gathering together to share their enthusiasm.
The 2005 event promises to be even better than the first - but just in case you missed it here is a blatent advert for it! [:)]

Frontrunner - 1st May 2005
Come and join us at FRONTRUNNER 2005; the second Club meeting of all front engined Porsche cars, the first was a great success and saw a large grouping of every model - including the biggest turnout of 968 cars seen together!
The event will be much the same format as last year with an organised run out with route map, special guests, model line ups, a display of one car each outside the Club Office entrance, hot snacks to buy on site as well as the facilities of Cornbury House including the Club shop. I look forwards to seeing you at Porsche Club GB, Cornbury House, Cotswold Business Village, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 0JQ from 11am.

See you there!!

wel done Paul.

i still enjoy looking through all my photos from last years event. it. parking everyone in model type made the event much more interesting.

not sure im going to have my 944 back on the road in time for may 1st. so it might have to be the Cayenne blocking the entrance again[:D]

That's fine by me Helen [:)]

Let's see if we can get more than three Cayennes at the event this year!

well done paul sorry i couldn't join you this time [] the event its one of my highlights of last year and this years going to be even better.

Marc
