Well Turbo has gone to a new home

Hello All

Well I have sold the Turbo [:(][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]

It was a lovely one and I probably will not find another anytime soon like it, but
I fancied a change and the right guy came along to take over the custodianship.....

He had an S2 back in 1992 when they were new and recently a 220bhp 944 whcih he recently sold,
to purchase mine. I know Nick will look after it and I even have first dibs if he ever wants to sell it again.

The weird thing is I bought it on the 19th March 2004 and have now sold it on the 19th March 2010!!!

Thanks for everyone's help here when I have had issues, it has been invaluable.
And I will keep popping up here if I have any bits I can help others with.

I am looking at a new toy and yes it will have Turbo's, but probably 2 this time!!!
I will let you know what I decide on.

In the meantime I am going to open a beer and have a little cry I think!!!!
Feel like I have lost a limb!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks a lot

Lee

Aaargh that must have been a tough call to make as your car was clearly a belter, all 951 drivers come back in the end you know. [;)]

Better be a V8. V6 twin turbo's feel too smooth and you just don't get that kick like 4cylinders per turbo. If its got to be 6cylinder make it a straight six.

I felt like that when I sat in mine for the last time[:D]

It just would not let me go..................until the heroic fireman had a word.

Go with the V8, I am liking mine...............today did Evo Triangle, Betsy, Llanberis Pass and back home along the coast road..........just for the fun of it, Its been a long winter.

Offord is only about 6 miles from my place, almost bought a TVR from there when I couldn't find a suitable turbo.

Glad you didn't. Offord tried to rip me off by selling me a dog at top money when I was looking, my car is probably the best car they've ever had!

You must be very close to me as I'm only 11 miles away from Offord.

It is FAB - good to see you Mike at Oulton.

Good to see the appletons,

Looks like your not getting rid of me[:D]

Not much doing on the Corvette C5 front, does not seem to be many left in this country. Many have gone to LHD Europe where they are worth a lot more money.

It could be that the owners are just too busy playing professional football or on tour with their rock band[:D]
