My last few weekends of gurning wit breaker bar in hand have been rewarded, car passed it's MOT today with the following new bits added:

castor mounts
goodrich hoses
refrbed calipers
spax rsx dampers/coilovers

I'm waiting on some don't arb bushes and still need to bleed clutch and fit te lost enhancer (it never ends does it :) ) but am over the moon to have the car on wheels and legal again after several weekends tackling all th seized bits that needed geting at to fit the new stuff.

I'm working out west next week and then gonna take the car up to Scotland for the bank holiday if it checks out ok on the drive to Newbury/ Bristol tomorrow.

I'd like to get an alignment done, and would take to rpm or promax as both are close to home, but logistics will be tricky before the bank holiday.

Can anyone recommend a good indy near bristol as that would be much easier to get to over the next week?

Cheers all, I'll post some thoughts on the spax once I've had a chance to drive the car in anger over next few days, drive across London doesn't give a fair impression really, plus I feel some obsessivedamper settings fiddling coming on.

I love my 944!

Lol! Took me about 3 months of fiddling to get my Gaz shocks set-up to my liking. In fact just in time for them to come off again to fit the replacement ones they kindly sent me due to my rusting issue.

Anyway, at least I'll know exactly how to set the new ones before I drive off!

Enjoy your fiddling.
