Were 964 Cup Racing wheels Magnesium?

Were the 8'' and 9.5'' Cup 1's (17'') fitted to Cup cars Magnesium or normal Alloy?

I know they were made by Speedline and I am sure very rare (possibly more so than SM Mags) but not sure of the material they were made of!?
 
Dessie....splitties were 18" and were alloy not magnesium.

If you find a set then you da man.

10's will fit the rear but you'll need 5mm spacers/shims....much easier to come by. I've got a spare set of 8's and 10's if you want to try them for size?

I know the 18's were alloy but what about the 17'' Cup 1's that were used?

They were made by Speedline instead of SM and were slightly wider at 8 and 9.5.
 
Been informed they were made of alloy, magnesium and silicone.

Sounds the same as the original SM wheels!?
 
Ah Silicone, you really mean silicon which is a metallic based element whereas silicone is what you use to seal your bathtub with, Happy days

Yep...made that same mistake on Rennlist. Oops!!!:p
