Hi All :)

I have my ticket to display my car at the show in the Canford Arena (Bournemouth) on Sunday..

Are we having a stand and Gazebo etc ??

What time are we all getting there?

All the best Brett :)

We are supporting R17 for this event as for previous years. I am expecting Nick to email any info to our members.
No doubt there will be suitable catering arrangements etc. for this event. (hope you didn't starve too much at Ragley?)

Hi Geoff :)

LOLLLLL

I had precisely ...1 can of coke...and half a bottle of water...in the whole day [&:]

Still the cars were great...94 ..928s...I was in heaven lol.....and didnt get strung up which was a bonus :)

See you Sunday :))))))))))

All the best Brett :)

I think most people are arriving around 10.00am, but hopefully there will not be the traffic queues as at Ragley. I will bring a gazebo if required but R17 will have theirs.

Just had a chat with Peter from Region 17 about this one...

Canford Arena, there is space booked for 30 cars on the PCGB Stand. Peter expects around 15 from R17, 15 from Dorset. There is some flexibility, so we would should be able to squeeze a few extra in if necessary.

As it is a new show-ground for this event Peter is aiming to get there with a couple of helpers early, we would ideally aim to be there between 9 and 10 am. Any-one arriving after 11 cannot be gauranteed a place on the show ground (show rules, not ours).

R17 will be taking a couple of gazebo's, and food for themselves. Food should be available on site, but nothing to say we shouldn't join the R17 spirit and take nibbles of our own.

From past experience, a colapsable chair is a good idea too!

I have always really enjoyed this event, in the past it has attracted just short of 1000 cars, and has a good friendly atmosphere - you feel safe leaving your car whilst you go and have a look round. Access is easier to the new venue for many members, so it could attract even more. A great event for wandering around saying "I used to have one of those...and those..."

I'll look forward to seeing you all there,

Best regards,

Tref.

Hi Tref :)

I will be there at around 9 am (as its only around a mile from my home) so will help Peter set up if he needs another helper :)

All the best Brett :)
