Wet carpets

I left my C2 Cab parked for three days last week (with the soft-top up and seemingly secure) and when I returned to it I found that one side of the car is rather wet inside. I assume it rained while I was away. Very wet carpet in rear footwell and under rear seat, and front seat belt sodden along its entire length. I am guessing this has something to do with blocked drainage channels. Any other ideas, and if it is the drainage, how do I clear the channels? I can't find anything in the handbook and I don't fancy another expensive trip to my OPC!
