Weather did not deter us from a 150 mile run around the Dales today.

Horizontal rain, standing water, bits of tree in the road...bring it on !!

Just amazed how much grip these cars have, even under these circumstances [:)]

Quite agree with you - that's why I have done 14,000 in the last 14 months! Loving it.

What's the point of shutting it away in a garage? May as well enjoy driving them because standing still or on the move they depreciate either way!
 
Well I have to confess!!
Today we had a scenic drive and pub lunch. Not one Porsche braved the conditions. So an intersting array of Audi, VW, Ford, Jeep, Range Rover and Citroen!!

Fresh pants after that!!!!
Tanya and I went out on a our local southwest drive last weekend,very wet all day,The car was superb
but on our way back we nearly aqua planed on the motorway,very scary
 
Picked up the Turbo S in Tonbridge on Saturday, it was raining heavy as we walked into the showroom ,
after the checklists all ticked it was time to leave, on Saturday and Sunday we did over 250 miles around Kent , and if it was raining heavy , we certainly never saw it , the reflection of my grin on the windscreen seemed to brighten up the countryside. I left for work on Monday , to Kazakhstan for a month , and now can only drool at a photo
 
Bit of damp stuff (monsoon) in Germany yesterday - quite interesting up in those mountains! [:(]

Tom picked up puncture and had to drive to Klobenz on the moose for a replacement. [&:]

Luckily, it dried up in the afternoon for the Nordshleife [:)] - Never seen the track is such fine condition. [:)] Couldn't keep Judith off it! Quiet day for reflection today. [:D]

Very wet up in thr Eifel Moutains today! [&:]

I got a front wheel slide on, whilst Gary managed to unstick all four! [:(]

Grand Gala dinner this evening, then long journey home tomorrow. It's gone much too quickly - but a great trip. [:)]

Should be plenty of photos on the forum once we get back. [;)]
