Wevo "G50" short shifter

Hi Folks, has anyone fitted the "G50" yes G50 Wevo short shifter?
Has it made an real difference and would one recommed it?
How does it compare with other G50 short shift kits avaiable (if any that is)?

It's very tempting, but I don't think I could justify the cost for what is after all a collection of fairly low cost bits of metal and plasticy stuff. I was a bit suprised to drive a friends 3.2 with a 915 box and short shift kit, to find the gear change was tighter and seemingly quicker than my G50 [:(]
 
Well if father Xmas is good to me I may be tempted to act as a guinea pig and go for one, lets wait and see
