which i think looks better than it did originally ,and now has the original sport look.

next job is to chase that speedo circuit board , relace the old pioneer stereo , wanted to get a new becker unit , but ws in the states and picked up a sony unit with built in bluetooth for the phone for to little money.
Also noticed the aircon pipe to feed the blower is split ,so thats a fun job no doubt , and another wheel to refurb.

its ok , but i have to admit , as with many women the camera can make things look better than they might be to the naked eye.

seeing the quality of the paintwork on the new lid the rest has to get sorted , then .....and only then will i be happy for people to see it in the flesh and say what a great looking SC

Harv,
Great looking car, she is a credit to you, keep up the good work!

The bellow hose I assume is the special moulding connection from the alternator housing to the blower fan inlet? I have had mine off several times and is easier than it looks to get on and off. My car has the air injection pump still fitted and once you have removed this the hose can be removed easily . There is a hose clip at the alternator connection and at the fan there is a single hex head bolt screwed into the fan inlet which secures the hose. Once the single bolt is removed the hose will come off, there is a tong on the furthest end of the hose which clips into a slot to position the hose at the end nearset the bulkhead, just pull the hose away from the fan to the left and then back towards you and it will come off.
I would try Specialist cars of Malton or type-911 for a replacement.
For your speedo circuit board try Jeff Caplan of Odometer gears Ltd for help.
I can't rememder but I think we talked about this before anyway here is his E-mail address order@odometergears.com
Cheers
John

car looks great, i have an SC Sport did they have the porsche sticker down each side? if they did where would i get one

Jamie not sure on the sticker ,although it is a porsche sticker , we are more of the opinion it would look better without it ,unless i find its how it was originally , if so then it will be reapplied after the paintwork is done ,
