Just wanted to let you guys know about the drive i had this week. Took my boxster s up from swansea to liverpool through midwales. BEST drive of my life - Like a computer game but real. I never wanted it to end and really found out what this car is capable of. Great picnic spot up on sugar loaf summit too!!!

Would be keen to here from people who has also done this run.

On 'real world', 'give and take' roads the Boxster 'S', roof down, is hard to beat.

Regularly through work (so tends to be a bit of a drag sometimes). But on a nice day I think to myself "the M25 or here?" No competition really[:)]

My favourite picnic spot is overlooking some unpronounceable reservoir above Llanidloes.

Motor Sport used to do their road tests around the Elan Valley. They always rated the roads around there. Is that part of the route ? Maybe you could post the exact road numbers ?

I used to do that route years ago in a Pug 405 diesel and loved every minute of it. I can imagine how amazing it would be in a Box with the hood down!

Every morning and evening to and from work.

I live 25 minutes from my office all along windy country lanes down past the amazing Balcombe Viaduct and no commuter traffic. Sorts me out before the office drag and clears my had after work. Always with the roof down unless it's tipping it down.
