What colour Boxsters at your OPC?

Because of the colour coding on the new '05, it worries me a little that some colours will look naff with the silver air duct grills and other bits. It would be nice to see them in real life to be able to form a reasoned opinion.

Anyone know which colours will be where?

Starter for 38k - Speed Yellow at OPC Reading.

I've been told that the Speed Yellow looks good with silver ducts. I'll form my own opinion though when I see it.

Has there been a new options list come out? as I've also been told that colour coding the grills is an option. Still, probably an expensive option if arranged and ordered through the OPC.

I have the Official 61 Page Price List on my desk and I can't see any mention of factory colour coding grills! sadly [&o]

You can have your roll-over bars painted in exterior colour Code XMK and your alloy wheels Code XD9 no grills though [&o]

Any mention of anodised black alu trim in place of the painted plastic standard chav-spec interior?

Yes if you mean Macassar ebony interior package satin finish [;)]

Maybe it's a "Techquipment" or an "exclusive" option.

I'll be ringing my local later on today, i'll double check.

You can get almost anything on the "Exclusive" programme. You want them covered in zebra skin? No problem.
You want a gun rack? No problem.
You want a smaller steering wheel? No sir, that is not possible (really! - I asked...)

Closest you are going to get is the Carbon Interior Pack [&o]

At the Paris Motor Show, the silver looked o.k. the black and the blue stand out and the first thing you would do is have them resprayed to match. I may have mine sprayed black to match the front grill - depend what it looks like when it arrives.

standard chav-spec interior

Do you mean that?
Is there a cap rack option then?
Can I have the seats in Burberry cloth?

Sorry. I'm just reminded of all those cheap silver-painted plastic "accessories" in Halfords when I see all the, um, cheap silver-painted plastic trim in the new car.
Even the car magazines have been mentioning it now in the road-tests.[&o]

I love the outside (sidescoops excepted), but the interior hasn't come over well in the photos yet. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, and I'm more impressed, when I see them next week in real life.
