Mine went out on Friday for a run to my folks as there hadn't been any salt on the roads for a week or two and plenty of rain to wash it off - made it home before it started raining/hailing.
I'm off all this week so it is going to get the full works - wash, clay, wash, prep, 3 coats of sealant then 3 coats of Zymol Glasur then it's off to the 911UK dyno day at Weltmeister on Saturday.

Yes I did take the RS on the roads this weekend but as usual after every outing I give it a gentle power wash afterwards underneath and around the wheelearches.
Cheers!

No coffee at the St Martin on the way up?ORIGINAL: DSCBoy
You are going to hate me for this..... but up the Col De Vence in glorious sunshine, man and machine perfectly sideways scaring the cyclists... then quick wash and wax (the car) before it got too hot for the polish.
If you'd said "followed by lunch at the Colombe D'Or" I would have been jealous!

Have you got space for camping in your garden Rick? I feel a Register Trip to the South of France coming on... Col De Vence, the Corniches along to Monaco, trackday on the circuit close to Ales, etc... [][][]

You come down via Dijon, can organise track hire and a tour of the Stand 21 factory (manufacturers of all the Porsche racing gear) and maybe a take in Reims, the old circuit and a Champagne house on the way there. Then come down to the Route Napoleon, we have early morning run up over the Col de Vence, track day at Ricard or Circuit de Luc... register tour of the Monaco circuit in convoy... maybe a historic Monte Carlo rally stage or 2 (Col de Turini?) and back in time for tea and medals?
Lunch at the Colombe D'Or?? Cripes, can't do that EVERY Sunday... ;-)
