I am not with car so need a favour

I am just about to go and pick up a Bosch S5008 or S5010 battery for the 993 C2 96 reg. I have noticed that the S5008 is 278x175x175 in dimensions and the S5010 is 315x175x 190.

The later is bigger cranking capacity so i would prefer this but will it fit.

Can someone confirm if this will fit the space and clamp etc.

Please help

i was preempting that i would buy it tonight. Really posted as i thought it was good price and i had never heard of Andrew Page before.

I went to fit the Bosch S5010 and i can confirm that a 315mm battery will definitely not fit. Pity because i attached the terminals and it cranked and started immediately. This has never been the case since i brought the car in september so it obviously was a dud battery when i brought the car.

So to confirm the Bosch S5008 at 278mm will fit.

Thank you to everyone

Elliot
