My car still has a water leak I have removed all carpets and seats and if I leave the car in a down pour, rain will not come in until I drive it.[&:]
The box section where the drivers seat bolts down is where the water comes in along the seam lip on the r/h side inside the car.I just dont know where the water goes to get into the car from there.
please can anybody help as this is now doing my head in.[]

It sounds as if it's from under the car, could it have been damaged underneath? Mine has some lovely dents from poorly-placed jacks in the past. [] How about getting it on a ramp, stripping the old underseal and trying to find a hole? Although, it could be travelling some way of course.

All of the underseal is intact and not damaged when I looked on the ramp at work.I did think about using a silocan sealant and packing the box section out from the holes inside the car, thinking that no water would make it into the box section followed by going into the car?[8|]

Ive checked at the bottom of the wheel arch liners on both sides there is a triangular hole (floor area) is this normal or is there trims missing perhaps? cheers

Hi pal , check the drian from the sun roof goes down the front A pillars , might be leaking into the car , and under the bonnet near where the wiper motor is located , at each end there is a drain hole and if it is blocked up then the water may overflow into the heater and into the interior of your car . best of luck J.c

the interesting fact here is that the rain is not leaking into the car when it rains. Its only entering the car when it subsequently moves. My first Lux used to allow water in at the top of the passenger door seal and end up trapped between the inner and outer seals at the bottom of the door. When I first braked ( after rain) a huge amount of water would rush along the cill and enter the car into the pass footwell. Next time it rains try opening the pass door and see if there is any trapped water on the cill.

Have you checked that the bulkhead area is draining correctly at the back of the engine bay where the blower motor is? If that is filling up with water perhaps it floods into the car when you move forward. I've also noticed on my car that that triangular area that you mention is open.
