Hi All
we have the up and coming workers conference
Any suggestions to put forward
Any articles for porsche post or forum
What do we do with the £300 that we won for our display at silverstone, workshop manuals?weekend tech workshop and drive through the welsh evo test roads, may be get chris Harris along for a presentation etc etc
Ideas

Paul, we have all seen the countless magazine features and articles of the 993 rs however there has as far as I know never been a DVD produced of the marque, now Chris Harris must have a film crew he uses for his autosport video's, perhaps he can suggest something,
I'm thinking several 993 rs, carpet, clubsport, cup, great road location, film crew, some great shots of the cars, something along the lines of a top gear shoot, the £300 can go towards the film crew, maybe some financial backing from the club,
if a DVD can be produced then I'm certain it will sell many copies, could even raise capitol for the club, I personally would contribute towards a professional film crew to create a top DVD of our cars, as I'm sure other parties would also contribute,
what are the thoughts of the other 993 rs owners ?

Oh dear......I quite liked the idea of the workshop manuals, on the basis they would be a resource that current and future RS owners may all get benefit out of at some point.

Great ideas coming out, keep them coming.
Dvd is a interesting one.
Clubsport i have a full set off 993 manuals if any one needs any info.[;)]
I believe some where on the www the manuals can be read, would be good to put a permanent link on here for them.
It would also be good to get the teknic manual on here, but i am useless with doing such things.[:(]

What about a weekend of arrival Friday eve , Saturday going through the cars on a lift, looking at info available etc ,dinner Saturday night and evo triangle on the Sunday.
I could probably come up with a sensibly priced weekend package, good food and beer, and my garage with no health and safety rules to interfere.
I tried to do this years ago at clubhouse with a lift etc,but H&S got in the way.

Sounds great Paul, evo triangle with film crew !!
the manuals would obviously have to be on a database where internet access would be possible, perhaps kish hirani IT director could assist with the project.

I like the idea of a DVD, I am sure it could be combined with a get together over a weekend and an Evo triangle run. Producing video content is much cheaper now so cost should not be too high. Getting the manuals on-line must be a relative easy task, good call on the IT Director. Anyway count me in for whatever is decided, I would love to attend !

All the best

Julian
