Today on my way to a fell race driving up the A1 i saw an '88 Austin Meastro...but not just any Austin Maestro it was a van...but not just any Maestro van it had a pop top and extra windows conversion into a motor home. Never seen one before and thought they were all in scrapyards so this contraption probably belongs in a museum, before the govt's scrappage scheme gets it but that's another beef.

Also saw a jelly mould Sierra Cossie!

one of these?

I ran a diesel Maestro van for 5 years / 90K miles without a problem except for a battery and normal servicing.

It was uncomfortable and noisey as hell but reliable (E918DAR)

It looks a bit cheap doesn't it? and small, i'd prefer a type 25 dub. What are you supposed to do with that table post? surely the tabletop fits onto runners between the cooker and the couch (one is visible below the cooker) to make a bigger bed but the post is screwed to the floor and doesn't look collapsible. Surely it doesn't stay in situ for you to crack your shins on in the middle of the night?

Certainly a tad compact and bijou..[8|] Quite how anything with so little style both inside and outside can come into being boggles the mind somewhat.
