What is a boxster worth

I'm looking at selling my boxster 3.4 s , it's a two owner car from new with a fully document service etc 71k on th clock and I've put it up from£12995.

It's about the cheapest 3.4 out there, but I've not had a lot of interest. Have boxster prices collapsed that much?

Normally this is about the best time to sell a Boxster. I bought mine from an OPC last July and as I was back in there recently I asked what they would give me for mine and although it was a dealer who obviously needs to make a margin my conclusion that it hadn't dropped too much if I could sell it privately. They are more niche cars so its probably worth a bit more patience but i presume you have tried the normal channels i.e Pistonheads, autotrader amongst the web sites.

Without sounding negative the colour inside and out may hold it back ...I like the combo always like lighter interiors .Price on a private sale is a bit high even though you say it is the cheapest about, The RT I know you have no control over is not good incidentally my car 987 Tip which was a 2.7 was the same banding a real bummer I know if you can afford a Boxster at £12K another £250 may not be a deal breaker. The market is a buyers one and if you want to get X amount stick it out ,there is always a buyer for any car just sometimes have to wait a while GLWS .

There are a lot of cars out there at present and for yours to stand out it needs to be around the £11.k mark Again if you think it is worth more hold out for what you want but be prepared to wait .Try We Buy Any Car or similar sites and see what they offer you that will give you an idea .
