I have recently fitted the lighting upgrade kit that provides relay's that routes current directly to the lights, thereby takeing all the strain away from the normal wiring: -

The question I have is which bulbs do I now fit, standard 55/60's - Silver star, Vision plus or offroad rally spec 55/100's,

Regards

I've fitted Osram Silverstars - a noticeable improvement but still feels like 70mph headlights in a 150mph car.

Good price for a pair from German, Swedish and French incidentally.

Would be interested if anyone has gone the HID route.

Me too & I agree 100%. Got mine from Powerbulbs.com, but they are also available off ebay.

Aren't the lights dreadful?! I was driving back from Wales last night and had to lift off in places as I was unsure where the road was going! This was on a dual carriageway too! I find them terrible on motorways and dual carriageways when you can't use full beam (which is actually very good itself), which means even late at night on our over trafficked roads! If anyone knows of a decent upgrade giving noticeable improvements I'd be glad to hear of them! Cheers

Hi kris,
Really depends on how much you want to spend, for I believe £400-600 to can go for a complete Xenon upgrade, not a DIY job, or as little as £50 which is to fit the relays and upgrade the bulbs to between 60-100 watt

At the last ACE meeting spoke with Sundeep who had fiited this relatively cheap £200 and simp, eto install Xenon light upgrade, the results were superb
