What Oil??

Hi Guys..... Well I've only gone and done it!! Bought a 993 C2S today! Lovely car and really chuffed! Will send pics and details soon!

It does need topping up with a litre of oil! I believe it has been serviced by OPC using Castrol Softec 5W/40 and I can't get hold of any! Can anyone confirm if it's okay to put Magnatec 10W/40 (Part Synthetic) in it? Is it okay to mix?

Thanks Maurice.... Have some of that (about a litre) from my old Scooby days!!

First clean and polish yesterday. I've never enjoyed cleaning a car so much!! [:)]

I don't know where you live, but JZM at Kings Langley near Hemel Hempstead keep TFT Softec in litre bottles. They serviced my car last time and I have been back to buy top up oil.
