What our 993s were made for!

Just back from an amazing 70 mile evening drive in my 993 C2 on perfect roads around Royal Deeside and the Cairngorm Mountains. Perfect early summer evening and even more perfect mix of roads. Mountain sweepers, moorland, river valleys, forests - you name it.....993 and driver in perfect harmony :)

Haven't stopped grinning :-D

Having not used mine for far too long! I too decided to take a trip in the 993 today. Did a round trip of just over 130 miles. Nice mix of roads and a couple of chances to blow the cobwebs out.

Great cars [:D]

I did a 4 day 1000 mile trip with my brother in April taking in the best driving roads in North Wales, the Yorkshire Dales, the Trossachs, the Cairngorms and Royal Deeside in Scotland. Brought out the best in the car and drivers, and reminded me how much fun we can still have in our cars in the UK once we get off the beaten track :)

Will post some pics when I get a chance.

Well several owners told me how their 993 puts a smile on their face after a drive, when I was looking to buy one. And they were right too; nothing quite like it! [:)]

Usually take mine through France to Switzerland each year. Going in August/September so looking forward to a cruise through France on the D Roads. The old girl will be getting towards 180,000 miles by the time I get back !!

I need to get some more miles on my car then, seems like you are catching me up [;)]

One of the great things about having a high milage car vs a "Garage Queen" is that you don't have to worry about additional milage impacting the value of the car...
