yes they are cup 2 wheels .I have the same on my S2 not sure what they are off of originally though ..maybe a Boxster ?

They look like Cup 1's to me and I think are of 968 era so possibly 964's as well? Cup 2's were 993 era.

They are highly saught after so if you don't like them i'm sure you'll have no probs shifting them!!

What Scott said - they are definately Cup1. Lovely lovely lovely wheels. [8D]

If they are genuine Porsche, the width and offset will be cast either side of the valve. If there are no numbers on either side of the valve - they're copies (probably Mille Miglia). No prob with that IMHO, but they are obviously worth less than the genuine items.

Edit: And I'm guessing you know you have 968 door mirrors?

did notice when i was claening them that there is numbers cast on either side of valve, they are in really good shape, one wheel has a smal scuff but otherwise unmarked or kerbed, think they 17", with 255 or 265 width on back if I recall (cant check away with work the now) correct. So Cup 1 wheel, probably off a 968, yeah?. Take it offset and that are fine for my turbo, drives well on them anyway, cheers for info people

If they are off a 968 then they will be the correct offset (don't believe the 968 boys when they try to distance their cars from the 944 lineage - they are a 944 with a few ponsy cosmetic changes). However if they are 964 they will have different offsets and will require spacers. They seem to look OK on your car from the photo's so you're probably fine.

Hi All, I recently purchased from another member a set of 5 spoke Boxter alloys which a friend said would
fit my 1986 944 they are 16'' as I wanted to change the 17'' on car to improve ride, turn in, and stop or
reduce tramlining. However they will need spacers can anyone tell me if this is a good idea and where to get them
- have tried Bert. Or should I wait until some d90 or cups become available what offsets do I need.
Sorry for rambling but would be grateful for any advice. Thanks Happy Christmas all Ron.

If youve got original 968 cup1,s fitted [ 7.5"/17 et 65 fronts---- 9/17" et 55 rears ], then there worth a few ££££, the last lot that sold recently , went for £700 ish.....quite desirable...[;)][:D][:D]
