Jesus, how many have you owned? The C4S is my first, brother - in law bought one of the first Boxster S's that came out in 2000 and he let me borrow it for a weekend which was my first taste of Porsche. I was always a Lotus Esprit man and didnt really like the look of a 911 as a kid until the 993 came out, i remember drooling over Marti Pellows black 993 TT many years ago parked outside Archaos nightclub in Glasgow.

4 to be precise Alan, but the new 993TT makes 5......in 7 years. Got my first which was a C2, then the C4S 9months later. Took a few years of in the Ferrari mode, then back into old skool 964 then 911SSE.

The 993TT was a car I always wanted but never bought and love the line, but the Gemablla 997TT up at the weekend looks the nuts and it has got me looking at them.............can someone please stop me this car obsession is unhealthy!!!!![:D]

Oh bug**r, are you supposed to sell them before getting another?[:D] Two 924 have also been in my possession other the years. Bought one for £100, stripped all parts I wanted off it then sold it to a Porsche breaker for £100. Bought another for £200 'cos' it included the registration YNJ 357 with it. Took a load of bits off it them gave the car to a friend for banger racing. Registration is now on my VFR400.
Always on the look out for others.

Cheers,

My first Porsche "¦ which I only bought 20 months ago.

What can I say? I like the 944 shape, and I love the way it feels to drive. I've gone (very quickly) from an early model to an oval-dash and then on to a Turbo. There's nowhere else to go within the model range, as I find the cabbys ugly, so I think I've found my motor now.

My first Porsche was a 3.2 Carrera, owned by a pilot in Glasgow....... then we restored the old Lotus Europa (Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious) was it's middle name! Then came the Boxter 3.2S followed by 997.

That Europa is beautiful "¦
It was one hell of a car to drive......jumped all over the road as it was so light at the front hence the rather 'ugly' spoiler that had to be fillted. It was rebuilt by Banks in Southport, it's a type 47 Europa and was on top gear many years ago along with Richard Banks other Europas. JPS and fag packet colours where an option at the time Brian but the 'Suzuki happy yellow' the colour of a workies jacket was the in thing at the time!!!!
Sorry guys, I know more about this car than my Porsche.......maybe it's cause we threw big £££££s at it and nearly got divorced!!!![]
