Well I didn't get anything specifically for the car or anything specifically Porsche but I did get the Led Zepplin Mothership CD that will get played in my 944. '70's/'80's Rock music in an '80's car!! An unbeatable combination.

I don't know Jon, I'll let you know when i've had a good chance to listen to it, but so far so good. I'm on a bit of a journey of discovery at the oment going through the 70's rock bands as I was never into them in my youth as my dad was always going on about them which automatically made them old hat and un-cool. With the last 5 yrs or so presenting no decent bands in my view due to the invation of the young talentless pretenders i'm forced to look back in search of good music. Seems like progress is not a philosophy the music industry subscribes to.

No car goodies for me this year [:(] (apparently I spend enough by myself thank you very much :ROFLMAO: )

I also got The Led Zeppelin Mothership. I can't quite get used to the clear sound with no scratching as all my recent Zeppelin listening has been on old cassettes recorded at least 25 years ago []. I must stress this is because my van only has a cassette player, and the original albums are probably, warped out of existence up in the loft (or the Missus chucked them years ago [8|] )

It was actually my dad that got me into all that sort of music. There's nothing modern that I really can say I like (except Muse) so some of my mates think I'm wierd as I don't like theire dancey music (I use the term music loosely I can recreate the same tune banging my head on a wall) It seems that to be a cool teen nowadays you have to have a poor taste in music and have cars that are hatchbacks that have loud exhuasts and hoofing great stereos and end up slower than they originally were and with far more drag than necassary with bodykits that quite often make the cars look like they have been smashed into a wall. It's funny but I don't seem to have many mates that are my age I seem to get along better with older people I was obviously born in the wrong era.

I'll stop the rant now had a little chav cut me up earlier with all his mates in the car and then decide to get out his car at the next set of lights to have a go at me luckily one of the large chaps who works at the same place as me saw what was going on and managed to get rid of them.
