Hello - I am new member here so please be gentle.

I am a bit stuck on what service to expect on my car due to mileage. It is 2003 so technically on 2 year service but no way am I doing that. I want to ensure it is kept in prime condition and here is the last couple of years services-

23.6.14 49414 Nine Excellence Service Minor
23.8.14 00000 Nine Excellence Exhaust change no stamp
22.12.14 51522 Porsche Torque MOT, Oil Change, HID repair, Gundo no stamp
3.7.15 53405 Porsche Torque MOT and minor work no stamp
7.7.15 53411 Porsche Torque Clutch Slave Cyl and clutch kit no stamp
9.7.15 00000 911Virgin Inspection Delivery no stamp

It has now done 55,200 after I purchased it on 1st October 2015.

I think it will need a oil change and the rear spoiler needs a bit of lubrication. I am likely to change the faulty amp on the hifi at a ICE specialist unless it is a cheap job.

I also need recommendations for east midlands servicing. Left a message for Leicester OPC service department but they still haven't got back to me 4 hours later. Would welcome alternatives as I prefer indi's

Many thanks

Looking at mileage between last and now you could probably get away with minor. Have a look on the OPC site they have the service schedule on PDF. I am also in this predicament of OPC or indie( and in similar area) . Have to say when you look at difference between minor and major service don't seem to get a lot for the money, mainly inspection and change of air filter.
Have been hearing good things of PCT in Coventry and Dove House Motors near Wellingborough
interseting to see other replies on this.
I am going to Leicester OPC tonight for Boxster launch, so maybe they are distracted at moment

Hi Geoff

Leicester OPC just got back to me - £195 for minor £295 for major plus £80 for brake changes. Looking at the service history it would be better to have a major service and the price difference isn't that much in grand scheme of things.

Enjoy yourself tonight.

No problem, those costs are cheaper than website I think it was £395 for minor . Agree at those costs have the major one done. They are coming back to me with prices. New car looks good but is a big car for a 2 seater now, would like to hear it running as video clips I've seen it is a different exhaust note to the one were used to

Just found the brochure issued on fixed price servicing
911 Carrera all forms. Minor £295 Major £395
Turbo/GT2-3 etc. Minor £395 Major £725
Brake fluid change all forms £95
Will await my quote[:)]
