I have seen a 944 for sale on ebay along with these wheels and see that they fit on a 1983 model.

my model is 1985 but the original wheels were the 15" teledial with 52.3mm offset.

Could you advise what tyres I would need anyone before I consdier bidding on some.

many thanks
Paul

Your original wheels are 7" wide with an offset of 23mm and these are 8" wide with an offset of 57mm so to bring the outer edge of the wheel out to the sae position as standard you would need a 21mm spacer. However because the new wheel is wider, the inside edge would still be 26mm closer to the strut,so I think a 30mm spacer would be best.

IIRC your's is a Lux. If so, an '85 Lux would be 23mm offset, so if your current wheels are 53mm you either have 30mm spacers already or you have very odd wheel fitment!

Those wheels on the car in the pic look very much like Cayen [4/4]wheels... If that so, they are heavy.....
