I know in the US the 944 has a cult following so what websites are good ones?

also for parts I did collect a brochure from some Parts place when I was out there for my Air Cooled lot and forgot the name as they had alot of nice 944 bits and bobs..
and I have searched like mad a home and my office for it and can't think what it was called.. any one know.

They sell every thing from the odd 356 parts right though to the new models and esp lots of trinkets and shiny parts. Wife wants to know what shiney parts she can buy for it when I got out to the US with an empty suit case [:D]

products is some thing that sticks in my mind

remembered any one bought from them from the UK posting to the US what they like?

I have normaly bought from them and had them post to a hotel or a mates place in the US for me to collect..been ok early stuff wise, not used them for modern stuff......

Also I note the manuals for repair Haynes are for the older car mines 92 and they show upto 89 so what's best to buy ?? is there a Factory book to get hold of they are always the best normaly so does any one recommend some thing??

I have bought three time from the US now and only escaped import tax once. They seem quite reluctant to show poetic license when putting the price on posting. I only got away with it with a remanufactured AC compressor was $230 USD and the guy put it down as used automotive parts dollar value $20 USD. Strangely enough on that occasion I didn't even ask [&:] As for servicing and repair a very good site is www.clarks-garage.com He is a 944 nut in the US and has done just about everything that can be done to his cars.

I know what you mean in the old days you could get parts over as you say and with certain people I still can. But I tend to get my shopping list out and ready and rack up the parts I need and when I am in the states I order it all in one go or make my way to one of the sellers places a deal is always done in person..

So now I just don't really post things it's more about who's the people to use out there for my shopping list already heaving with air cooled cars ops..

You could always ask on pelicanparts.com or rennlist..both pretty large communities with no reticence about criticising a supplier..
