What size spacer up front? with 16x7 and 65 mm offset (standard is 52), you sometimes get a rub on full lock on the inside rear. MOT testers tend not to like that. Rears really don't need a spacer, unless you've had your wheelarches rolled and are really going for maximum track.

Do they have the curly engraved lines on tips of the spokes?
I don't think they do, from those pictures. Standard D90s?

Hmm, quite shallow dish for standard 944 D90s. If no engraved lines, I'd guess they're D90 off a 928 then..

I don't think they should need a spacer, although there is a possibility they might rub on the spring perch (One of mine did with 15x7" teledials from a 928)
There have been a few issues with spokes breaking on these wheels - after refurbishment the spokes can be very thin. If you can't see the "curly lines" that would be a bad thing....

Is spot on. I noticed these on the advert a couple of weeks ago. It's not just the line running parallel to the cut out, but the shape of the cut out is subtedly different to the D90's.
Interesting enough, someone recently posted a link to the all the 16" Porsche wheels - I notice there's very weight difference between the D90's and CS's.
Add in the potential breakage situation that has happened with them following a refurb (this isn't myth, but fact Ed and I have both seen it happen first hand) then there's a lot to be said for the D90's ?

Thanks Chris - Can I quote you on that in the future? [
Back to OP - as these dont have the cantre caps - are they the ones we were talking about a few weeks ago that had been skimmed 2-3 mm/
opinnion on those was dodgy to say the least?

Seeing that caged 924S reminds me: I am about to embark on a track 924S build that should see it producing 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport equalling horsepower...
See you on track..soon 924S will outnumber the Elises and 944Ts.. Ok, I'll bite: TVR V8? Supercharger? One of them American things with pushrods?

Forced induction, and whilst it wont be a genuine 937 engine: the block is very closely related... Ive mused abut it before, but I now have the money required; and (the far trickier to secure) fellow who's familiar with the engines who is up for the job.
Im hoping for 280-330 bhp eventually, in a car weighing a shade over 1,000 kilos.
See me in a sand trap soon!
